Frequently Asked Questions

How to Use

Our clinic disinfects the waterline with chemicals or electrolyzed water. Is it possible to use Dr. Nano with chemicals? Is there a synergy effect?

The nanobubble water produced by Dr. Nano is made of tap water and originally dissolved air. Therefore, there is no problem in combining Dr. Nano with chemicals, as long as the chemicals are safe to use with tap water.

On the other hand, synergistic effects can be expected. Once a biofilm is formed, chemicals such as chlorine in tap water cannot reach the bacteria under the biofilm, so viable bacteria continue to multiply. The nanobubbles produced by Dr. Nano peel off the biofilm. As a result, the chemicals are more likely to reach the bacteria and kill or stop their growth.

Our clinic is planning to replace our unit. Can we install Dr. Nano in our current unit and use it as is in the new unit?

Dr. Nano installed in the existing unit can be replaced with the new unit when the unit is replaced. Therefore, you can check the effect of biofilm removal with the current unit before replacing it and continue using Dr. Nano with the new unit.

Is it a good time to install Dr. Nano when installing a new unit?

We recommend that you consider installing Dr. Nano when you install a new unit. The waterline of a new unit, which is still free of biofilm, is constantly filled with nano bubble water produced by Dr. Nano to maintain an environment that is resistant to bioforms.

Will Dr. Nano work on older units that are thought to have biofilm buildup?

Dr. Nano may also work on older units, but it depends on age, environment, and contamination. After installing Dr. Nano and flushing water into a clear bottle, the debris of peeled biofilm may be observed. In this case, continue flushing until it becomes clear. We also recommend a long flushing before your practice for a while.

If a 0.1µm (100nm) sterilization filter is installed, will nanobubbles pass through it?

Nanobubbles will pass through even if the filter is over 100 nm. It is also believed that it is nanobubbles of less than 100 nm that produce the biofilm peeling effect of Dr. Nano.

There is a water heater in the unit, does it affect the nanobubbles?

Although the nanobubbles disappear when the water is boiled, they are not affected when the water is heated to about body temperature.

How to Install

Is there a possibility of water leakage from Dr. Nano?

Dr. Nano has a double layer leak proof mechanism. Sample inspections are conducted prior to shipment.

Is there any concern about water leakage due to installation work?

The threads on both ends are finished straight (G1/2" standard) so there is no risk of water leakage when connected to standard faucets or flexible pipes (straight threads).

Is there any concern about damage to the unit piping? For example, we have fluorinated hoses, will this affect them?

The raw materials of the nanobubble water produced by Dr. Nano are tap water and dissolved air. Therefore, it is not expected to have any effect on materials that do not have problems with normal water.

Durability

Will Dr. Nano ever malfunction?

There are no power components, consumables, or other parts of Dr. Nano's body that can physically cause it to fail, so there is no chance of it breaking.

Is there a manufacturer's warranty?

The 5-year product warranty is valid upon user registration. If your product fails under normal use, please return the defective product to us and we will replace it with an alternative (equivalent) product.

Please note, however, that the warranty does not cover economic damages, consequential damages, or the cost of replacement work caused by the malfunction.
